The design of cast basalt tiles BASALT DESIGN has been inspired by a unique rock formation called Panska Skala in Northern Bohemia.
The company EUTIT Czech Republic is one of the leading world producers of cast basalt products. The excellent characteristics of million years old volcanic rock remain the same even after smelting and subsequent crystallization. Thanks to random colours luminescence each individual tile is an original.
This enables to create a variable and original composition with a changing symmetry to be gradually discovered as one walks on the paving. The dark colour and firmness of the natural stone evoke a feeling of safety even in large areas. BASALT DESIGN tiles can be used all-round.
They have proven their quality not only in historically listed buildings, including ecclesiastical buildings, arcades, car show rooms, department stores, in reconstructed industrial premises, solid floors in pubs, restaurants as well as in private houses. They are ideal for highly frequented areas, where dirt and sand are brought from outside. Due to the good thermal conductivity and accumulation ability the tiles are often used in combination with the floor heating.
Suitable glass inserts from Czech and Italian glassworks can emphasize the aesthetic appearance.
